Return & Exchange Policy

RETURNS/EXCHANGE POLICY


    At The Kina, we strive to deliver products of the highest quality. This Return, Exchange & Store Credit policy governs all return and exchange requests made by the Customers.

    1. General Policy

    1.1. Due to the nature of our products, The Kina does not offer refunds to the original mode of payment under any circumstance.

    1.2. Only exchanges or store credit may be provided, strictly subject to this Policy.

    1.3. All requests must be raised within the specified time frame and must comply fully with the eligibility conditions stated below.

    2. Eligibility for Return or Exchange

    A product may be eligible for return or exchange only if:

    2.1. A request is raised within 48 hours of order delivery.

    2.2. The item is unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and free from any fragrance, stains, makeup marks, or alterations.

    2.3. The item is returned with all original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories intact.

    2.4. The item is not part of our non-returnable category, including but not limited to:

    Sale/discounted items

    Customised or altered products

    Accessories

    Items purchased during limited-period campaigns

    Products marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”

    The Kina reserves the right to reject any return/exchange request if the product fails to meet the above conditions.

    3. Exchange Policy

    3.1. Exchanges are provided only for size or product defects, and only for the same product purchased.

    3.2. In cases where the requested size is unavailable, the Customer may receive store credit as per Section 4.

    3.3. Only one exchange is permitted per order.

    4. Store Credit

    4.1. In special or approved cases, store credit may be issued at the sole discretion of The Kina.

    4.2. Store credit:

    Is issued in the form of a discount code or wallet credit after deducting the transaction fees of Rs.300/-

    Is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be converted to cash

    Is valid for lifetime from the date of issuance

    Can be used only on www.thekina.in

    5. Refunds (Special Cases)

    5.1. The Kina does not provide refunds to the original payment method except in exceptional situations such as:

    Order cancelled by The Kina due to stock issues

    Product found to be defective beyond repair and replacement is unavailable

    Duplicate payment or failed transaction (verified by the payment gateway)

    5.2. In such cases, The Kina may issue store credit instead of a monetary refund, at its discretion.

    6. Non-Returnable Items

    For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

    Custom-sized garments

    Accessories

    Items bought under heavy discounts, flash sales, or festivals

    Gift cards/vouchers

    Bundles/combos unless entirely returned as delivered

    7. Pickup & Reverse Logistics

    7.1. Once a return/exchange request is approved, a reverse pickup will be scheduled within 2–5 business days (subject to serviceability).

    7.2. In certain cases, the Customer may be required to self-ship the product.

    7.3. The Kina is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural disruptions, or logistical issues.

    8. Quality Check (QC) Terms

    8.1. All returned products undergo a strict Quality Check.

    8.2. If an item fails QC, it will be:

    Returned to the Customer at their cost, and

    No exchange or store credit will be issued.

    8.3. Decision of The Kina’s QC team is final and binding.

    9. Order Cancellations

    9.1. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled.

    10. Product Description & Color Disclaimer

    10.1. Minor color or texture variations may occur due to digital photography, lighting, or device display settings.

    10.2. Such variations do not qualify as defects and are not eligible for return/exchange.

    11. Liability Limitation

    11.1. The Kina shall not be liable for:

    Damages caused by incorrect washing, handling, or usage

    Courier delays

    Incorrect address provided by the Customer

    Misuse of store credit

    11.2. The maximum liability of The Kina, under any circumstance, shall be limited to the value of the product purchased.

    12. Policy Amendments

    The Kina reserves the right to modify, update, or amend this Policy at any time without prior notice. All changes become effective immediately upon posting on the Website.
